Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy can be defined as an intervention or series of interventions which facilitates healing and repair, and thus a return to functional activities. Physiotherapy helps restore movement and function to as near normal as possible when someone is affected by injury or pain.

Physiotherapists use their knowledge and skills to help people overcome a wide range of physical health problems, for example:

  • Back and Neck Pain
  • Sports Injuries
  • Shoulder Problems including frozen shoulder
  • Repetitive Strain Injuries
  • Joint Problems
  • Rheumatological Conditions such as Arthritis

Whether you are an athlete or sports person aiming to return to action, or someone needing help with relief from pain, our treatment and advice will be tailored to meet your specific Physiotherapy needs.

Following your initial consultation a treatment plan will be discussed and agreed upon, and will include a realistic prognosis and time frame for recovery.

Our aim is to not only treat the symptoms of your condition, but to establish the underlying cause and help prevent recurrence.

Examples of the types of treatment offered at the Clinic can be found on the Treatments page.

For your convenience the clinic also offers Evening and Saturday appointments.
